For people who need large brushes, make sure you check out Gift Packaged brushes from 3 Rabbit maker and private label Ji Cuixuan. They are really big brushes, but with special effect. One brush GarlicBrush opens up really looks like a garlic with a real fancy 4 Chinese character name Making Clouds and Fogs as soon as you touches the paper, we had these custom made by 3 Rabbit! No one has them.  It's making and material used is really exotic! xuanbi04, xuanbi07, xuanbi03 uses over ten year old goat hair, these brushes are worth hundreds, but we make them affordable to you. Make sure you check  them out.     For landscape painting you need to at least look at harder brushes and mixed brushes.    For flower and birds painting you need to look at soft brushes and mixed brushes.    No matter what you paint, you always need to check out mixed brushes. Besides the very poplar ones that we already introduced like Purple sword bristle xuanbi16, xuanbi30, and xuanbi29, we added many more for special applications like lines, details, large flow.   Teachers, make sure you check out the wholesale page! For brush handle ---- Porcelain is most expensive if it's Jing Dezheng fine porcelain. Among Bamboo handles, natural color like tear drop bamboo and Xiaoxian bamboo are the most desirable and expensive. These are very special bamboos which has long sticks between bamboo knots. And they are very durable! The tear markers are very beautiful like the beautiful princess's tear drops, this is where the name come from! Then it's the natural white bamboo and carbonated bamboo with brown color. Natural Ox horn as ends and holder are expensive, but stronger last longer. Pays off in time and beautiful. For example  OxSOrchidBamboo and SOrchidBamboo, both are superb brushes for Sumi-e, it starts from a point and ends with a point, very easy to use by beginners. A must have for practicing bamboo strokes and calligraphy. Also for   xuanbi30 and Lg7z3y. Both brushes are soft and strong, superb for crisp lines, flowers, smaller strokes. The ox horn ferrule and special making gives a little bit experienced painter and calligrapher more flexibility for maneuvering. Make sure you look them through on each page. In our new shipment we added many more brushes recommended by our experienced Chinese artists who had used 3 Rabbid brushes in China before. It's very valuable to us, we are very happy to provide them in USA, so they do not need to find them cross half of the earth! Besides some of the gift packaged large brushes xuanbi02, xuanbi03, xuanbi04, xuanbi05, xuanbi06, xuanbi07 and xuanbi08 made by the private label Ji, Cuixuan, who is the very best private brush maker. We provided two brushes from another regular brush maker xuanbi26 and xuanbi28. Because some of the teachers offer them in their classroom set. Many museums offer them to their students. They are less expensive, but in our view extra money give you exceptional extra quality ty. For example we have two same named brushes from 3 Rabbit and the other maker. Both called Special Made Orchid Heart, the 3 Rabbit one ( item: SOrchidHeart ) and the one by the other maker labeled xuanbi26 are two totally different brushes! Of course you are the one to decide which one suite your needs.   All other brushes are made by 3 Rabbit, the best quality xuan brush maker! We added one other selection of Special made large White Cloud made by 3 Rabbit in addition to the set of three by the very good private label Ji, Cuixuan xuanbi08. We would like to hear your feed back of the two. Long Island teacher Sung Sook tested them out, she says the 3 Rabbit one does not split in a large stroke, so it's much better brush. This is the difference of super quality brush maker and good brush maker. For a brush, from it's look, you cannot tell the quality difference. But when you are using it, you feel it immediately. Upon request we added three sets very professionally made brushes for painting flowers, birds, plants, etc. The beauitful natural ox horn ferrule not just added the beauty to the brushes, they do let you use the brushes much much longer. Because the brushes need to be soaked in the water before each use, when not dried properly the bamboo ferrule is so easy to crack. The three sets are Blue Jade Hidden in White Snow large size labeled No1GoatMix etc. , Western Mountain Red Leave labeled No1WolfMix etc. For large flow and big strokes, we added Flying Cranes labeled LgFlyCrane etc. Besides the very professional special flower painting brushes, we also added a set of basic long goat bristle soft brushes labled LongGoat etc. Similar brushes like xuanbi08 is a little bit stronger, while these has really long bristles.
