Shanghai Marie's Color maker is the most famous and known brand for Chinese watercolor. To prevent forgery, the student size set with 12 tubes of 5 ml. each, the maker made the Gamboge tube larger with 5 color printed tube. This is how you identify it's genuity. Marie's Chinese watercolor set is more expensive than their western watercolor. The colors are much better even on western watercolor paper. It's more tranparent. A must on Chinese Xuan Paper.
