The AcornPlanet.com Affiliate Program will pay you every time you refer a customer to our site and make a purchase within 90 days. The program remembers it's you who refereed him/her to our site, even when he/she comes back using any of our direct URL without entering any information about your ID. You will earn commission every time the customer comes back to our site to make a re-purchase within 90 days!

How do I get started with the affiliate program?

It's a simple three-step process: read the Operating Agreement at the beginning of the sign up form, fill out the Affiliate Application, and when AcornPlanet.com accepts your application, you will be notified via email about your affiliate ID and start earning money.

How long does the AcornPlanet.com cookie last?

The AcornPlanet.com cookie, a small file stored on the computer of somebody that clicks your affiliate link, last for 90 days. That means that if somebody clicks on your link and doesn't make any purchase right away, they will have a cookie with your referral ID on their computer, so if they purchase within the next year, you will get credit.

Does my Web site qualify for the AcornPlanet Affiliate Program?

Anyone can apply for the program. However, Acorn Planet, Inc. reserves the right to refuse any site, especially if it contains unsuitable material. Web sites that would violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right; encourage illegal activity or racism; or feature hard liquor, tobacco products, gambling, or materials, products, or services related to pornography will be deemed unacceptable for the AcornPlanet.com Affiliate Program.

I don't have a Web site yet. Can I still apply to be an affiliate with AcornPlanet.com?

Yes! You can give out your affiliate ID or Link in your email, on the phone, ...On our order form, the buyer can simply enter your ID to make sure you get the credit!

Can I participate if I live outside the U.S.?

Yes! Commission payments for affiliates will be made in U.S. dollars only with AcornPlanet.com checks!

Why do I have to provide my social security number?

Because if your calendar-year commissions exceed $600, AcornPlanet.com must issue you a Form 1099MISC at the end of the calendar year that must be filed with your Tax Return..

How does AcornPlanet track members coming from my Web site?

AcornPlanet.com uses Commission Cart Program software from SiteInteractive.com to track members whom you refer to AcornPlanet.com.

How can I keep track of how many people visit and made purchases with AcornPlanet.com?

Simply log in to your AcornPlanet.com affiliate account at www.ChineseArtSupply.com/cgi-bin/commcart20/viewaccount.pl to access the detailed statistics. Any approved sales are reported to your account immediately! All sales are approved to receive commission except sales made by yourself!

How much will I earn?

You will receive 10% of sales from the customer you refereed to us. You will not receive the commission from purchases made by yourself! Returns by your customers will have the commissions deducted back from your account. Currently We have a flat commission of 10%. Down the road we might change to: the paper group has a low commission of 3% to 5%. Some of the expensive inkstones to 5% commission. Most of the items 10% to 20% commission! Our affiliate program are set up to help artists and art teachers, we hope our even lower profit margin will be compensated by much more sales generated by our affiliate program!

When and how do I get paid?

You will be paid monthly by check when your AcornPlanet.com account reaches a minimum of $50. If your earnings are less than $50, the balance will be carried over to the next month. Commission checks are issued within 35 days of the end of each month.

We will upload some attractive banners for you to use, you can also create them yourself to fit into your own web site or newsletter!

How can I download graphics and logos from AcornPlanet.com to my Web site?

You can click any graphics from our site with your right button and save the graphics to the format your wanted.

May I link to AcornPlanet.com from more than one Web site?

Yes. You are welcome to link to AcornPlanet.com from multiple Web sites, as long as none of the sites violates any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right; encourages illegal activity or racism; or features hard liquor, tobacco products, gambling, or materials, products, or services related to pornography. Submit the URLs for all sites, which you plan to use to promote your link, via email to affiliates@acornplanet.com.

How can I promote AcornPlanet.com?

We have found that the text links are the most effective marketing tool for generating sales, make a popup window on your home page, every new user of your site will see your add. In addition to your Web site, you may promote AcornPlanet.com through an opt-in mailing list.

How will my visitors make purchases?

Your graphic and text links will take your visitors right to AcornPlanet.com, to them the feel and use is exactly the same as if they just found us from any search engine.

Promoting My Web Site

Can I use AcornPlanet in my URL or in the name of my site?

No. The use of AcornPlanet or any variation thereof in your URL or in the name of your site will be cause for your immediate dismissal from the affiliate program. In such a case when you breach the affiliate agreement, you thereby forfeit any earned commissions.

What kind of advertising can I do?

Be creative-write a newsletter for visitors to your site, write a testimonial about Acorn Planet, Inc., write an article.

What kind of advertising is prohibited?

You cannot send unsolicited spam email in any way. There will be no leniency in cases of unsolicited email, and affiliates in violation of this policy will forfeit their commissions and be removed from the program.

Can I do a press release or other kind of announcement regarding my affiliation with AcornPlanet.com?

Before you do so, you need to submit it's content for approval!
