INK: ENTERING SPIRIT AND FORM is a collaborative work that rediscovers the link between ink painting and the martial arts of aikido and iaido. The dynamic synergy between the fine arts and the martial arts are reflected on each page as ink paintings mesh with poetic expression. A nationally exhibited fine artist, Lisa Chakrabarti and writer and martial arts instructor Beth Shibata see these arts as they were traditionally used--as tools for enlightenment. |
