    Questions about Ordering System!
  • Why do I have to enter the Credit Card Number on the Second page of Check Out?
We deliberately left the CC# blank on the first page, because that page send to us -- the Merchant. We do not think merchant should have info about their customers credit card number. It's for the protection of the customer.
ON the credit card processing page, customer fill in the CC# and it's on a Secure server, card number is encript, it's safe on the internet.
If you do not give us your Credit Card number on the phone or by fax, only the credit card and the bank knows your card number. We also do not keep customer CC# on file at all. We often get request from customer to put their order on their card after they made their first order. We cannot do so, you will need to fax us the information again: Billing name, address, expiration date, card number, ... just as they appear on your card and with your signature.
We want you to feel and know your are secure and we want to keep our privacy policy simple, we try our best not to know your private information!
  • How to use the shopping cart!

To avoid too many screen changes, when you click on the Add to Cart button, you will be staying at the same page, near the item you clicked at. it does not mean the item did not add to the shopping cart!To buy anything, you need to click on "Add to Cart" to put the item in your basket, change the quantity to order more than one piece. . Use view button to take any items out of the shopping cart. Use Check out to pay for the items!

  • Common mistakes made at ordering!
Many orders shipped to USA address get a large shipping charge, this is caused by not selecting the "United States of America" as your entry for the line "Country".
After you click on the "check out" button, there is one entry line on the form for "country", you need to select the first one "United States of America" on the pull down menu. Then you will not be charged the out of coutry shipment sur-charge. Currently we do not have a robust way estimating shipping cost out of USA. For any orders from other countries, we usually puts all the items that are on your purchase request, finding out the actual cost from United Postal Office or UPS. If you have not paid the purchase with your credit card yet, we will contact you to inform you the actual cost, so you can make payment with any adjustment. If you have already paid with your credit card. Depends on what you have ordered, if the shipping you paid is a little bit off, we usually supplement it for you for free. If what you paid is more than the actual cost, we usually add items from inventory to supplement for your extra shipping paid. We give you items according to what you purchased. If you purchased brush, we would add extra brush that complements what you have already selected.
  • Screen Flexibility

When you check out the artist information, some of the screen is divided into three parts, top, left, and right. On each part is a scrollbar on the right that can be used to scroll up and down if the content does not fit in the window.

The division between the different windows is "soft"; i.e. the user can grab (click on with the mouse and hold) the divider and move it at will, therefore making each window as big or small as he/she wants. For example grabbing the divider between the top window and the bottom and moving it up, will give the user bigger part for viewing each individual painting.

In the top screen the user has selections of different artists and categories. The left window contains thumbnails. To view larger image of the painting click on the thumbnail and the larger image will appear in the right window.
