ChangE Beng Yue Yan (Moon Goddess) was made by Jianchen Fang in the spring of 1973, exhibited at the 1974 China Nationwide Exhibition of Arts and Crafts. Again in 1982, it was shown at the Anhui Four Treasures of Chinese Study exhibition held in Beijing. In 1985, it was exhibited again with his many other famous works in Hongkong. Not mention it was published in numerous arts and collector's magazine.

One of the old original piece made him famous. Because he was employed at that time by the government owned and also the best and most prosperous inkstone maker --- Anhui Shexian Arts and Crafts Factory. This inkstone was collected and treasured by the exhibition hall of the factory. At that time, everyone visited Shexian, Huangshan, visited the inkstone maker. For anyone who owns this piece owns a piece of She inkstone history. As you can also see from Jianchen's portfolio, this is a very rare piece of his earlier work!

As the Japanese economy faulted, the inkstone making in Shexain faulted too. Finally this glories inkstone factory was bought out by the thousand year old inkstick factory. This is the first time that this piece is offered for sale. At this moment, the inkstick factory is going through restructuring to try to survive the modern society. We have no financial tire to the factory. We are only advocate of the ink grounding culture. A 10% commission is charged on top of the asking price. This will cover the expenses of the insured freight from China to USA, customs clearance, etc.

The following piece is also owned by the inkstick factory, An Old Mine Dragon's Tail Jade Belt with Gold Star. The carver is the very old master inkstone make --- Hu, Zhenglong, who is in the same generation as Jianchen Fang's father Qinshu Fang!
